Throughout our existence, our ultimate mission has stayed the same: to affirm the value of human life by providing a network of care to those experiencing pregnancy related crisis.
We have been practicing this mission since April of 1994, when our first center opened its doors and held the first annual Walk for Life. Our center originally opened under the name of the ‘Crisis Pregnancy Center of Columbia’. It began after more than a year of work and prayer from a group of believers, that as representatives of Jesus Christ felt they must offer love, truth and support to those mothers that have experienced the tragedy of abortion. We offered free pregnancy testing, factual information and material support for those that are within an unplanned pregnancy, abstinence education, as well as emotional support to those that had experienced abortion.
Several years later, we changed our name to ‘A Woman’s Place’. Flash forward to 2011, and our center was officially named Pregnancy Centers of Middle Tennessee to reflect the expansion of our centers, with our Pregnancy Center Spring Hill TN location opening.
Through all of these changes and expansions, we have remained true to our initial mission. We are proud to say that we have helped enable the love of Christ to make an impact on hundreds of families.
